This year’s conference will be at the Colorado Springs Marriott. Call (719) 260-1800 for reservations and mention “MDD” and/or "UU" to receive the room rate of $99/night.
Keynote: We are honored to have Rev. Meg Riley join us for this exciting weekend. Her keynote address will explore what it means to be connected. What kind of alchemy transforms a roomful of people into real community. What kind of language helps along the way? In the 21st century, how does technology both help and hinder?
Rev. Riley will also present a workshop track on Saturday on Digital Connection. Facebook is the 7th largest country in the world. How do we use this fact to change the world? How do we tell this new nation who we are?
About our Keynote Speaker: Rev. Meg Riley is Senior Minister of the largest UU Congregation, the 3500-member Church of the Larger Fellowship, a Church without walls. She has worked in the intersection of religion and culture in a variety of contexts, including serving as Director of the Unitarian Universalist Association's Advocacy and Witness staff group, Office of Lesbian, Bisexual and Gay Concerns, Washington Office for Advocacy, Youth Programs, and as a religious educator in several Unitarian Universalist congregations. She is currently President of the Board of Faith in Public Life: A Resource Center for Justice and the Common Good.
All workshops will be geared to the full community (multi-generational), and childcare will be provided for children 7 and under. Click here for program information! The preliminary schedule is here.
Bring your MDD Songbook if you have one. We’ll have copies for sale as well in the Bookstore.
